Shihan Simson who is also the Chief Instructor & Technical Director of KO-IN-CHI Academy of Martial Arts has several outstanding achievements to his credit. He has obtained 5th Dan Black Belt from Ko-In-Chi Academy, 5th Dan Black Belt from World Martial Arts Federation-USA, 5th Dan Black Belt from All India Karate Federation, 5th Dan Black Belt from Jeet Kune Do and 2nd Dan Black Belt in Taekwondo. Apart from that, he was also selected as the National Referee of All India Karate Federation. In 1984, he became the International Champion (under 15 category) at the Shotokan Karate International Tournament. He was also selected as the National Champion (under 55 Kg) category for the years 1991-92 and 1992-93 at the All India All-Style Open Full Contact Karate Tournament.
